On September 27, ISA Tianhe held a garden party to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival. At the garden party, we celebrated the festival together, felt the festival atmosphere, shared the joy, and appreciated the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
9月27日，爱莎天河以中华民族传统节日——中秋节为契机，开展了中秋游园会。在这欢乐的时刻里，我们共同庆祝中秋佳节，感受节日气氛，分享节日快乐，领略中国传统文化的魅力。
On the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration day, ISA Tianhe members dressed in traditional costumes to convey Chinese culture. It brought the joy and blessings of the Mid-Autumn Festival to every corner of the campus.
中秋游园会当天，师生身穿传统服饰，步履间传递着中华文化，将中秋的喜庆和祝福带到了校园的每个角落。
01 Chasing the Moon 追寻月影
The moon is one of the critical elements of the Mid-Autumn Festival, representing reunion and happiness. In the booth games, Chasing the Moon, Moon Exploration Operation and Happy Moon Flip were related to the moon. When playing booth games, students improved their responsiveness and physical wellness. Through the booth games, they felt closer to the moonlight and understood the meaning of reunion and joy.
月亮是中秋节的元素之一，代表着团圆美好。在本次游园会中，摊位游戏追月、探月行动和快乐翻“月”都与月亮相关，爱莎学子在参与游戏的过程中不仅能提高反应速度、强健身体，也更加亲近月亮的光辉，感受团聚和欢乐的意义。
02 Galloping Jade Rabbit 玉兔奔腾
In Chinese traditional culture, the Jade Rabbit is the companion of Chang’e, representing good luck and reunion. Through fun activities, such as the Jade Rabbit Running to the Moon, the Mad Rabbits Play with Moon and the Jade Rabbit at Large, students felt the excitement and joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival, enhanced knowledge, and understood the Chinese traditional culture.
玉兔是传说中嫦娥的伴侣，代表着吉祥和团圆。可爱又机灵的爱莎学子们通过玉兔奔月、疯兔闹月和玉兔出没等有趣的活动，不仅感受到了中秋节的热闹和欢乐，而且增进了对中国传统文化的认识与理解。
03 Wonderful Mooncakes 奇妙月饼
Mooncake is the traditional food in the Mid-Autumn Festival. Mooncake symbolises reunion and carries cultural significance. During this celebration, ISA Tianhe students were fascinated by fun mooncake-related activities, such as Making Mooncake, Rolling Mooncake and Kung Fu Chopsticks. During the craft activities, children liberated their nature, strengthened their fine motor skills and body balance, and experienced the unique charm of traditional Chinese festivals.
月饼作为中秋节的传统食品，因象征团圆而承载着浓厚的文化意义。在这个特殊的节日里，爱莎小吃货们对月饼作坊、滚月饼和功夫筷子等月饼相关的有趣活动兴致盎然。孩子们解放天性，锻炼手脚协调和身体平衡，在动手创作中体验中国传统节日的独特魅力。
04 Songs & Tea in Mid-Autumn Festival “唱”饮中秋
In the Chinese poem, “Raise the cup to invite the bright moon, and compose the reunion song together, ” students and teachers tasted the sweet tea and listened to traditional music, symbolising reunion, and conveying the desire and blessing for the reunion.
“举杯邀明月，共谱团圆曲”，师生们用心品味着茶的香甜，用耳朵感受着音乐的美妙，每一口茶，每一曲音乐，都成为了团圆的见证，同时也是对团圆的向往和祝福。
05 A Letter from Moon Palace 月宫的来信
The Jade Rabbit and Chang’e heard that ISA Tianhe students are brilliant, so they sent a letter on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival full of fun facts about the Moon Palace. The students were eager to try and had fun while learning. The students demonstrated their intelligence and answered the facts with ease. The students fully demonstrated ISA students’ characteristics as Knowledgeable and Inquirer learners.
玉兔与嫦娥听说爱莎学子们机敏过人，于是在中秋前夕发来一封信，里面全是月宫冷知识。学生们闻讯都跃跃欲试，寓乐于学。许多同学大展身手，轻松通过一个个冷知识关卡，将爱莎学子博学多闻、敢于挑战的学习者特质展现得淋漓尽致。
06 Gorgeous Lanterns & Challenging Riddles 花灯绚烂、谜题挑战
Lanterns symbolise reunion and hope. The children gained happiness and wisdom in the process of guessing riddles. Children dressed in traditional costumes were immersed in the event, experiencing the beauty of the Mid-Autumn Festival and promoting the development of their thinking skills.
创意灯笼的明亮点亮了夜空，象征着团圆和希望；孩子们也在猜谜的过程中收获快乐和智慧。身穿传统服饰的孩子们沉浸其中，不仅深刻感受到中秋之美，同时也促进了孩子们思维能力的发展。
07 Wheel of Fortune 丰收幸运盘
In the Wheel of Fortune booth game, the children surrounded the wheel with anticipation. The wheel’s spinning was like the arrival of the autumn harvest, and they waited for their lucky moment with nervousness and excitement. Students cheered and shared the joy with teachers and the gifts they drew.
在中秋游园会的丰收幸运盘游戏中，孩子们充满期待地围绕着转盘，眼里闪烁着欢乐的光芒。幸运盘转动象征着丰收的秋季来临，每个孩子紧张又期待地等待自己的幸运时刻，他们欢呼雀跃，与同学老师们一同分享喜悦，分享收获。
The Mid-Autumn Festival garden party celebrated traditional Chinese culture. The celebration improved children’s sports skills and knowledge, promoted Chinese culture, and increased their interest in learning Chinese and their love for traditional Chinese culture. The moon is shining brightly, and the Mid-Autumn Festival is here. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
这是一次集中国传统文化、体育竞技、知识发展于一体的中秋游园活动，弘扬了中国文化，提高孩子们对中文学习的兴趣与对中华传统文化的热爱。明月皎皎，中秋佳节到。愿家人团聚，幸福常相伴。
