The summer holidays have ended, and the new school year has started. August 28th was the first day of school in ISA Tianhe. A new school year is a new IB learning journey, new beginnings, and adventures. The students walked into the familiar campus confidently. Meanwhile, new students joined the ISA Tianhe family with excitement and nervousness.
伴随着夏日的微风，告别了悠长的暑假，新学年正式拉开帷幕，8月28日，爱莎天河迎来了开学第一天。新学年开启新的IB旅程，扬起新的风帆，爱莎学子们迈着自信地步伐踏入熟悉的校园，同时新同学也怀揣期待和紧张的心情加入到爱莎天河这个大家庭。

Welcome Back
欢迎回归

The school’s leadership team eagerly awaited the children’s return and greeted them early at the gate, and the campus was restored to its usual sound of joy and laughter. The children happily greeted the head of the school, teachers, and classmates.
学校领导团队翘首以盼，早早的在大门迎接孩子们回归，校园也恢复了往日的欢声和笑语。孩子们开心地与校长、老师、同学打招呼。

Early Years
幼儿园

They started the IB learning journey in the Early Years with a Communication and Skills programme. Teachers used interactions, dancing, singing, and gaming to support children in making connections, helped them to familiarise the new environment, and guided them to integrate into the class.
幼儿园以沟通表达课程正式开启一天的IB学习旅程。老师们通过互动、跳舞、歌曲、小游戏，孩子们相互建立联系，帮助孩子们熟悉新的环境，引导他们慢慢融入班级。

Primary
小学

On the first day of school, students started on a new IB transdisciplinary themes learning, where they made connections between subjects such as UOI, Maths, Chinese, and Language Electives. In the following school year, teachers will lead students to carry out more interesting thematic inquiry lessons to provide students with rich learning experiences, which will enhance students’ interest in learning, explore independently, and cultivate students to become lifelong learners.
开学第一天，学生们踏上新一轮的IB超学科主题学习，探究课（UOI）、数学课、中文课、语言选修课等不同的科目之间建立了更多的联系。新学年，老师们将带领学生开展更多趣味主题探究课程，让学生有丰富的学习体验，从而增强学生的学习兴趣，开展自主性探究学习，培养学生成为终身学习者。

Lunch Time
午餐时间

During lunchtime, the school provided students with a rich, Chinese and Western meal to ensure a balanced nutritional intake. The new dining tables and chairs made the canteen more spacious and brighter, gave students a better dining experience. Students enjoyed a pleasant lunchtime with their classmates, teachers and friends!
午餐时间，学校为学生提供丰富的、中西结合的餐食，确保学生营养摄入均衡。新的餐桌椅让餐厅更加宽敞明亮，给学生带来更好的用餐体验。学生们与同学、老师、朋友共同享受愉快的用餐时间！

Playtime
活动时间

In the playground, children enjoyed break time with classmates and friends. They shared the exciting things that happened during the summer holiday and built friendships with new students.
自由活动时间，后操场传来声声悦耳的笑声。孩子们迫不及待地与同学、朋友分享假期的奇闻趣事，以及快速地与新同学建立友谊。

We have had a super first day here at ISA Tianhe. It has been great to see lots of familiar faces and to welcome our new families too. Children have enjoyed getting to know each other and our returning students have been kind and friendly to their new classmates. We are all looking forward to the semester ahead, and we have lots of events coming up that we will invite you to. Our first major event will be Back to School Night, where we can meet each other in a social setting. Good luck to everyone for a super school year.
