The new school year is starting soon, and the school optimised and upgraded some of the furniture during the summer holiday, providing students with a more comfortable and warmer atmosphere. Various projects, such as training and workshops were taken place. We are ready for the new school year. All members of the ISA Tianhe community are looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year and a bright future together.

School Furniture Optimising
环境优化升级，构建温馨社区

As a unique IB international school, ISA Tianhe campus is designed to create an excellent learning environment based on the curriculum and teaching, so before the start of the school year, some of the classroom furniture was optimised and upgraded. The new furniture was purchased in 2022 and stored in an off-site warehouse for ventilation to ensure that the air quality in the rooms is not compromised. By creating a comfortable learning environment, the school can enhance students’ interest in learning and develop them into lifelong learners.
作为一所独具特色的IB国际学校，爱莎天河校园基于课程与教学而设计，致力于为学生打造优良的学习氛围，因此在开学前学校对课室部分家具进行了优化升级。新家具均于2022年采购并存放于校外仓库进行通风散气，确保室内的空气质量不受影响。学校希望通过营造舒适的学习环境，提高学生的学习兴趣，培养学生成为终身学习者。

Desks and chairs play a crucial role in children’s health and learning efficiency, so we replaced some classroom furniture. Providing students with more comfortable seats and desks further helps children to concentrate more on learning and protects students’ sitting posture and eyesight.
课桌椅对孩子的健康成长和学习效率起着关键的作用，因此本次优化对课室的部分家具进行了更换。为学生提供更加舒适的座椅和桌面，进一步帮助孩子更专注于学习，保护学生坐姿与视力。

Canteen
明亮的餐厅

In order to provide a better dining environment for students, the dining tables and chairs have been replaced and upgraded. The new dining tables and chairs are neatly and aesthetically, making the canteen more spacious and brighter, and enhancing the students’ dining experience.
为了给学生提供更好的就餐环境，对餐桌椅进行了更换提升。新的餐桌椅排放整齐美观，让餐厅更加宽敞明亮，提升学生的用餐体验。

The school started staff training to ensure everything is ready for the new school year. Staff training included a series of new staff orientation and training, workshops, safety training, first aid training and professional teaching seminars, which addressed all aspects of campus safety, teaching and learning management, home-school communication, curriculum coordination, and other training and discussions.
学校陆续开展了一系列丰富的教职工培训，为了确保做好新学年的一切准备。员工培训中开展了一系列新职工迎新和培训、研讨会、安全培训、急救培训，以及各学部开展了专业的教学研讨会等，针对校园安全、教学管理、家校沟通、课程协调等全方位开展培训和讨论。

Teachers decorated and set up classrooms diligently, and they were excited to wait for the children to be back. Teachers believe a positive classroom environment is one in which students feel comfortable and encourage them to share their thoughts.

The school insists on putting campus safety first and building a solid safety defence. The school has conducted campus safety training for all staff, caring for children’s growth and ensuring physical and mental health development to create a safer and better ISA Tianhe community.
