Help Kindness Grow 让善意生长

Warmth fills the days, and kindness shines bright. During Charity Month, the love of all teachers and students converges like a river—no empty slogans, only down-to-earth, warm actions. Every small act of kindness grows and spreads gradually on campus. With the purpose of “Help Kindness Grow”, we have launched a series of meaningful charity activities, allowing every teacher and student to become a messenger of love, who understands and passes on kindness through practice.
时光有暖，善意有光。在爱莎公益月里，来自爱莎天河师生的爱心汇聚成河，没有遥远的口号，只有实打实的温暖行动，每一份微小的善意，都在校园里慢慢生长、传递。以“让善意生长”为初心，我们发起了一系列温暖又有意义的慈善活动，让每一位师生都能成为爱心的传递者，在实践中读懂善意、传递。

Passion Never Fades
善意启程，不负热爱

Upholding ISA’s vision and values, and adhering to the core mission of IB education to “nurture lifelong learners and responsible global citizens”, we have always taken “Caring”, a core trait of IB Learners, as an important foundation of holistic education. At the launching ceremony of this Charity Month, Head of School Ms. Beth and Ms. Sylvia, Director of Operations and Head of ISA Charity Fund, jointly issued an initiative to all teachers and students, calling on every ISA person to actively respond to the core call of “Act” — public welfare is never a distant slogan, but a daily consciousness, a commitment within one’s capabilities, and more importantly, a transformation of the literacy awareness gained in the classroom into practical actions to serve others and warm the society, allowing holistic education to break out of the bounds of books and classrooms and truly take root and thrive in practice.
深耕爱莎愿景价值观，坚守IB教育“培养终身学习者与负责任全球公民”的核心使命，我们始终将“关爱”这一IB学习者核心素养，作为全人教育的重要底色。在本次慈善月启动仪式上，Beth校长与运营总监&爱莎基金公益基金理事长Sylvia女士携手向全体师生发出倡议，呼吁每一位爱莎人积极响应“Act（行动）”的核心号召——公益从不是遥远的口号，而是融入日常的自觉，是力所能及的坚守，更是将课堂上的素养认知，转化为服务他人、温暖社会的实际行动，让全人教育不再局限于书本与课堂，真正在实践中落地生根、滋养成长。

At the launching ceremony, we witnessed the gathering of love and strength together, and specially commended the students, parents and teachers who have quietly devoted themselves to public welfare and actively passed on warmth over the past year, in order to pay tribute to every selfless dedication and perseverance. Every sincere participation of teachers, students and parents, and every initiative and voluntary effort, is the most vivid interpretation of the theme “Help Kindness Grow”. It also makes us deeply feel that kindness is never a lonely struggle, but a warm force passed on by countless people walking side by side and hand in hand.
启动仪式上，我们一同见证了爱心的集结与力量的汇聚，同时特别表彰了过去一年中，默默深耕公益、主动传递温暖的学生家长与老师，以此致敬每一份无私的付出与坚守。每一位师生、家长的真诚参与，每一次主动自发的付出，都是对“让善意生长”主题最生动的诠释，让我们深刻感受到：善意从来都不是孤军奋战，而是无数人并肩同行、携手传递的温暖力量。

Actions Warm Hearts
善意绽放，以行暖人

｜HELP KINDNESS GROW

During this Charity Month, numerous warm moments were captured as all teachers and students actively participated in various public welfare activities. We took part in western education assistance and public welfare hikes to bring knowledge and hope to students in distant areas; launched the “One Wish” collection to help critically ill children realize their small dreams; reached out to special groups, cared for special needs children, hearing-impaired children and visually-impaired children wholeheartedly, broke down barriers with companionship and respect, and guarded every bit of innocence with kindness and warmth. Additionally, an upcoming charity flash mob performance is waiting for the whole ISA Community to pass on love through their talents and contribute to kindness with enthusiasm. Every participation is a transmission of love, and every effort fosters the gradual growth of kindness.
这个慈善月，无数温暖瞬间被定格，全校师生积极投身各类公益行动，我们参与西部助学公益徒步活动，为远方学子送去知识与希望；发起“一个心愿”收集，帮重症孩子圆一个小小的梦想；走进特殊群体，用心关爱特殊儿童、听障儿童与视障儿童，用陪伴与尊重打破隔阂，用善意与温暖守护每一份纯真；更有一场即将到来的慈善快闪义演，等待着每一位爱莎人以才艺传爱、以热忱赴善，每一次参与，都是爱心的传递，每一份付出，都在让善意慢慢生长。

On campus, children took the initiative to launch public welfare activities, deeply integrating the learning achievements of the UOI inquiry unit with public welfare practice. They organized the school bus cleaning activity in an orderly manner, deepened their sense of responsibility and service through labor practice, and contributed their own strength to the community environment; at the same time, they carried out a “lemonade war”, applying the knowledge from the UOI economics inquiry unit to practice. Every link, from cost accounting and pricing strategies to promotion and publicity, embodies the children’s exploration and thinking. Every penny earned from the sale will be used to raise funds for Meizhou School, helping local students purchase sports equipment, allowing kindness to cross distances and warmth to flow both ways. In addition, primary school students have carefully planned a calligraphy competition and and a public welfare knowledge quiz to raise funds for Homeless Love organisation. The children will convey love through writing, practice kindness through knowledge, and pass on warmth through talents. All funds raised from these activities will be fully used for public welfare assistance, making every effort a faint light that illuminates others.
在校内，孩子们主动发起公益行动，将UOI探究单元的学习成果与公益实践深度融合。他们有序组织洗校车活动，在劳动实践中深化责任与服务意识，为社区环境贡献自己的一份力量；同时开展柠檬水义卖活动，将UOI经济学探究单元的知识学以致用，从成本核算、定价策略到宣传推广，每一个环节都凝聚着孩子们的探究与思考，而义卖所得的每一份收益，都将用于为梅州学校筹款，助力当地学子采购运动器材，让善意跨越距离，让温暖双向奔赴。此外，小学的学生们精心策划了书写比赛，以及公益知识问答活动，为Homeless Love公益机构筹集善款。孩子们以笔墨传情、以知识践行、以才艺传爱，所有活动筹集的款项将全部用于公益帮扶，让每一份努力都化作照亮他人的微光。

This warm journey of public welfare has allowed the seeds of kindness to quietly take root in the hearts of every teacher and student, gradually integrating into every bit of daily life and becoming an ingrained habit and quality — this is exactly the original intention of IB education and the profound significance of ISA’s holistic education. We have always firmly believed that education is not only the transmission of knowledge, but also the nurturing of character; it is about enabling every learner to grow into a warm, responsible and compassionate person through practicing “Caring” and taking active action.
这场温暖的公益之旅，让善意的种子在每一位师生心中悄然发芽，慢慢融入日常的点滴之中，成为刻在骨子里的习惯与素养——这正是IB教育的初心，也是爱莎全人教育的深刻意义所在，我们始终坚信，教育不仅是知识的传递，更是品格的滋养，是让每一位学习者在践行“关爱”、主动行动中，成长为有温度、有担当、有情怀的人。
