Summer vacation has come to an end, and the new academic year has officially begun. On September 1st, ISA Tianhe welcomed a hopeful first day of school—a new IB learning journey unfolded, and the sails of exploration and growth were raised at that very moment.
伴随着夏日的微风,悠长假期悄然落幕,新学年正式启程。9月1日,爱莎天河迎来了充满希望的开学日——全新的IB学习旅程即将展开,探索与成长的风帆,也在此刻扬起。

The school leadership team waited eagerly at the entrance early in the morning, warmly greeting each student upon their arrival. Laughter once again filled every corner of the campus as children cheerfully greeted their principals, teachers, and friends. A vibrant picture of the new academic year slowly unfolded across the campus.
学校领导团队早早守候在校门口,期盼着每一位学生的归来。欢笑声再次点亮了校园的每个角落,孩子们热情地与校长、老师、同伴问候交谈。一幅生机盎然的新学年画卷,正在这里缓缓铺展。

Early Years

In Early Years, IB inquiry-based learning was vividly brought to life through a series of carefully designed activities. Teachers used a variety of interactive games, dances, songs, and play-based activities to guide children in communicating with one another and building emotional connections in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. These activities not only helped young learners gradually adapt to their new environment but also supported them in smoothly integrating into their class community, thereby taking their first steps in exploration and collaboration. Through in-depth summer training programmes, teachers further enhanced their educational philosophies and classroom practices. This has allowed them to bring more innovative design and nurturing interaction into the new semester’s lessons, providing children with more professional and heartfelt guidance throughout their development.
在幼儿园阶段,IB探究学习通过一系列精心设计的活动生动展开。老师们运用互动游戏、舞蹈、歌曲与小游戏等多种方式,引导孩子们在轻松愉悦的氛围中相互交流、建立情感联结。这些活动不仅帮助孩子们逐步熟悉新环境,也支持他们顺利融入班集体,在探索与协作中迈出成长的第一步。通过暑期系统教师培训的深入开展,老师们进一步提升了教学理念与课堂实践能力,他们将在新学期的课堂中融入更多创新设计与温暖互动,为孩子们的成长提供更专业、更有温度的引导。

小学

Meanwhile, primary students also embarked on a new round of IB transdisciplinary theme-based learning. Connections were built across various subjects such as UOI (Units of Inquiry), mathematics, Chinese, and foreign language electives, allowing knowledge to be interlinked and mutually reinforced. In the new academic year, teachers will guide students through more engaging and fun thematic inquiry courses, enriching their learning experiences and further sparking their interest in learning. Through such self-directed inquiry, students will develop the ability to learn independently, progressing steadily on the path to becoming lifelong learners.
与此同时,小学生们也开启了新一轮的IB超学科主题学习。在探究课(UOI)、数学、中文、语言选修等不同学科中,知识相互关联、深度融合。新学年中,老师们将引导学生开展更多富有趣味的主题探究课程,丰富学生的学习体验,进一步激发他们的学习兴趣。通过这样的自主探究学习,学生将逐步发展出独立于教师驱动的学习能力,朝着成为终身学习者的目标稳步迈进。

In the canteen, the school provided a diverse selection of Eastern and Western meals, ensuring a healthy and balanced diet that catered to different taste preferences for every student. Everyone gathered around the tables in a cheerful and relaxing atmosphere, sharing meals and enjoying lively conversations about their day.
午餐时间,学校为学生准备了丰富多样的中西结合餐食,兼顾营养均衡与口味选择,确保每一位学生都能获得充足而健康的能量补给。学生们与同学、老师及朋友们围坐一起,在轻松愉快的氛围中享受美食,交流彼此的一天,共度温馨的用餐时光。

Break Time 课间时间

During break, the back playground echoed with joyful laughter. Children eagerly shared stories and adventures from their holidays, and through these natural interactions, they quickly built new friendships. The entire campus was filled with an atmosphere of vitality and warmth.
自由活动时分,后操场回荡起阵阵清脆欢快的笑声。孩子们迫不及待地与伙伴分享假期中的趣事和见闻,也在轻松自然的互动中迅速拉近彼此的距离,与新同学建立起新的友谊。整个校园洋溢着活力与友爱的气息。

The first day of the new school year marks the official beginning of another educational journey full of exploration and growth.
