On January 22, 2025, ISA Tianhe celebrated the Spring Festival, with activities themed “With the Arrival of the Year of the Snake, We Embark on a New Journey.” As we enter this new year, full of hope and energy, we start our journey to chase our dreams in the Year of the Snake.
2025年1月22日，以中华民族传统节日——春节为契机，广州天河爱莎外籍人员子女学校开展了“灵蛇贺岁，璀璨征程”贺春节活动。在这岁序更替的时节，我们怀揣着对新年的美好期许，带着满满的活力，踏上蛇年的逐梦之路。
On the day of the event, teachers and students wore traditional and festive costumes to celebrate the New Year. Their lively presence moved among different snake-themed booths, adding a special charm to the Year of the Snake. The joy of the celebration spread throughout the campus.
活动当天，爱莎天河师生们身穿中国传统服装和喜庆服装，穿梭于不同的祥蛇摊位之中，为蛇年注入了别样的韵味，也将蛇年的喜悦传遍校园。

Lion Dance 瑞狮呈祥
The ISA Tianhe lion dance was a charming performance, with the lion symbolizing good luck for the Chinese New Year. As the drums played, the lion entered the ISA Tianhe campus, greeting teachers and students with its unique dance. Beyond entertainment, the lion dance shared the values of unity, teamwork, bravery, and hard work, inspiring the students with its meaningful message.
狮舞爱莎，神韵飞扬，瑞狮贺岁带来了吉祥如意。在锣鼓声中，灵动的瑞狮走进爱莎天河校园，不仅用其独特的舞姿跟爱莎师生拜年，而且将醒狮这一中国传统艺术蕴含着的团结、协作、勇敢、拼搏的精神力量传递给爱莎学子。
Calligraphy 翰墨挥春
Looking back at the Year of the Dragon, we have achieved great success, like a dragon diving into water. The Year of the Snake offers new opportunities and hope. During the event, ISA students expressed their enthusiasm and creativity by writing New Year’s wishes and blessings on Spring Festival couplets. Let’s continue to forge our path to success in the year ahead.
回首龙年，我们如蛟龙入水，硕果累累。而蛇年，蕴含着机遇与希望。在活动中，爱莎学子用他们的热情、智慧与才艺在挥春上书写着新年的愿望与祝福，愿我们在新的道路上续写辉煌。
Paper-making 古法造纸
The pen moved like a dragon and a snake, reflecting the deep wisdom our ancestors wrote on paper. By discovering the ancient art of papermaking, we showed our students’ strong desire for knowledge. May all the students shine with wisdom in the new year!
笔走龙蛇——我们的先祖曾在纸张上泼洒出最动人的智慧。用最古老的方式揭开造纸的秘密，就是用虔诚的姿态表达着学子们对智慧的渴求。愿新的一年爱莎学人都能沐浴着智慧的光辉！
Hand-marbled Silk 丝巾水拓画
The auspicious snake, like an artistic spirit through the ages, shapes an extraordinary vision for the Year of the Snake. The students embraced their creativity, using vibrant inks to design beautiful patterns on silk scarves. With these artistic expressions, we hope that in the Year of the Snake, our studies and lives will radiate with renewed brilliance.
祥蛇，如岁月里的艺术精灵，用它的灵动身躯为蛇年勾勒出非凡的轮廓。爱莎学子也用彩色水墨在丝巾上拓出色彩缤纷的图案，祈愿在蛇年里我们的学业与生活都焕发出新的光彩。
Woodcut Art 新年版画
With their realistic snake shapes and the laughter, the students brought their creative ideas to life on the boards. The colorful and unique auspicious snakes added a cheerful and lively vibe to our campus. In the new year, ISA Tianhe students were sure to showcase their ambitions and fill the educational blueprint with beautiful colors!

Bamboo Weaving 七彩竹编
Bamboo is soft and easy to shape, with beautiful colors. Flexible bamboo strips were woven into lovely patterns by skilled hands, creating poetry with bamboo. The students’ fingers moved quickly like little snakes, weaving back and forth among the bamboo. This graceful movement showed their appreciation and longing for beauty.
竹软宜塑形，色纷更动人。柔软的竹篾在一双双巧手中编成美丽的图案，那是用竹子写就的诗行。学子们手指灵活如小蛇，在竹间来回穿梭，这是最动人的姿势，满含着学子们对美的欣赏与渴求。
Paper-cutting 蛇年剪纸
The students creatively used bamboo and colorful paper into bright ideas, with each cut-out being like a lovely little poem. The beautiful patterns reflected their youthful faces, full of energy and life. This is the most beautiful scene of spring at ISA Tianhe in the Year of the Snake.
编竹出巧意，剪纸斗芳菲。一双双稚嫩的巧手用红纸呈现出他们斑斓的灵感，每张剪纸都是一首清新动人的小诗。美丽的图案辉映着年轻的脸庞，一派生机与活力，这是爱莎天河蛇年开春最美好的场景。

The students used their imagination to paint colorful blessings, brightening every corner of the school. In their skilled hands, these wishes shine. May everyone at ISA Tianhe use their cleverness to start the new year with a fresh and bright look!

In the Year of the Snake, we celebrated good fortune as ISA Tianhe welcomed the New Year. May the clever spirit of the snake inspire all of us at ISA Tianhe to write new chapters in the sacred field of education with our wisdom. May our educational endeavors at ISA Tianhe thrive and last for a long time, continuing to grow and prosper.
