中秋 Mid-autumn Festival
On September 16, 2024, The ISA Tianhe Campus welcomed the annual Mid-Autumn Festival. The campus was abuzz with a festive spirit, as teachers and students the globe gathered to celebrate this traditional Chinese festival and immerse themselves in the essence of Chinese culture.
在这个金秋送爽、丹桂飘香的美好时节，爱莎天河学校迎来了一年一度的中秋佳节。2024年9月16日，校园里洋溢着浓厚的节日氛围，来自世界各地的师生欢聚一堂，共同庆祝这一富有中国传统韵味的节日，深切感受着中华文化的精髓。
Fashion Show ｜时装秀
During the event, the campus was festively decorated for the Mid-Autumn Festival, with lanterns hanging high and streamers fluttering, exuding a joyful and harmonious atmosphere. To kick off the celebrations, a unique “Mid-Autumn Festival Fashion Show” took center stage. The “models” confidently strutted the runway, gracefully twirling, lightly jumping, or gazing affectionately into the distance. Each movement seemed to tell a story – of reunion, of dreams, not only highlighting the allure of traditional Chinese fashion, but also reflecting the ISA students’ deep understanding and innovative interpretation of this cultural heritage.
活动当天，校园内装饰一新，灯笼高挂，彩带飘扬，处处彰显着中秋的喜庆与祥和。首先，一场别开生面的“中秋古装秀”拉开了庆典的序幕。“模特们”在舞台上尽情展示着他们的风采和自信：或优雅地转身、或轻盈地跳跃、或深情地凝视远方……每一个动作都仿佛在诉说着一个关于中秋、关于团圆、关于梦想的故事，不仅彰显了中国传统服饰文化的魅力，而且体现了爱莎人对时尚的理解和创新。
After the fashion show, students were greeted with a long-awaited cultural experience.
时装秀过后，学生们期盼已久的特色文化体验活动接踵而至。
Lacquer Fan Booth ｜漆扇体验
At the lacquer fan booth, students meticulously selected their preferred colors, using lacquer as a “pen” and water as their “paint” to artfully dance their designs across the fans. Their works embodied a diverse array of beauty, infusing the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations with endless poetry and elegance.In traditional culture, the jade rabbit has long been a symbol of auspiciousness and beauty, imbued with rich meanings and profound cultural significance.
在漆扇体验场地，同学们精心挑选自己喜欢的颜色，以漆作笔，以水为画，用符合东方美学的色彩在扇上翩翩起舞，作品姿态万千，为中秋增添无限诗意与美好。在传统文化中,玉兔一直是吉祥、美好的象征,承载着丰富的寓意和深厚的文化内涵。
Twisting Stick Booth｜扭扭棒乐园
Students showcased their creativity at the Twisting Stick booth, by using the twisting sticks to craft intricate jade rabbit ornaments, imbuing the celebrations with auspicious blessings for the entire ISA community. In this process, the students demonstrated their boundless imagination, each crafting a unique and captivating twisting stick jade rabbit.
在扭扭棒乐园，同学们用扭扭棒制作玉兔饰品，给爱莎全体成员带来好运和美好祝愿。在这个过程中，同学们充分发挥了自己的创意和想象力，创作出了独一无二的扭扭棒玉兔。
Bean Painting Booth｜豆豆贴画
At the bean painting booth, students tapped into their creativity, making full use of the diverse shapes and hues of various beans and grains. They carefully arranged the natural colors of the legumes and cereals into exquisite, one-of-a-kind bean paintings. The resulting artworks showcased the students’ exceptional artistic flair and imagination.
在豆豆贴画体验中，孩子们依据豆子的本色，充分利用各种豆子、五谷的形状，粘贴成了一幅幅精美的豆子画，展现出孩子们独特的艺术感。
Rubbing Booth｜拓印体验
At the rubbing booth, the captivating imagery of a bright moon, a rabbit, and intricate rubbings conveyed the children’s deep appreciation for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
在拓印体验中，一轮明月、一只兔子，一幅幅鲜亮的拓印传递着孩子们对中秋的喜爱。
Lantern Rddles｜猜灯谜
The lantern riddles, brimming with Chinese cultural references, sparked a delightful collision of wisdom and humor. The scene was alive with energy, captivating the students who remained engaged and enthralled throughout. And when the mysteries behind the riddles were finally unveiled, the air erupted with thunderous applause and joyous laughter.
饱含中国文化情趣的打灯谜现场也热闹非凡，充满了智慧与趣味的碰撞，孩子们乐此不疲，揭开谜底时的掌声和欢声笑语此起彼伏。
Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋
The Mid-Autumn Festival celebration not only strengthened the emotional connections between teachers and students but also provided our diverse students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the charm and warmth of traditional Chinese festivals. Many students expressed that participating in such activities deepened their appreciation for Chinese culture and fostered a sense of belonging within the vibrant community at ISA Tianhe Campus.
此次中秋佳节庆祝活动不仅加深了师生之间的情感交流，更让不同文化背景的孩子亲身体验到了中华传统节日的魅力与温情。他们纷纷表示，这样的活动让他们更加热爱中国文化，也更加珍惜在爱莎天河校区这个大家庭中度过的每一天。
