On 29 August, ISA Tianhe School held an orientation day for families of new students in the 2024-2025 school year to help them get acquainted with campus life in advance, and to lay a solid foundation for their children’s upcoming journey of learning and living. On the day of the event, the campus was filled with a warm and joyful atmosphere. The school prepared a series of colourful activities for the new families so that they could have a comprehensive understanding of the upcoming campus life. Activities such as Curriculum Setting, students and teachers meetings, and information booths on campus activities enabled new students to adapt to the new environment and integrate into the community more quickly, and to start a wonderful journey. It was a great way for new students to adapt to the new environment and integrate into the community.

During the presentation, the head of the school, Ms. Beth, conveyed the school’s educational philosophy and emphasized the importance of home-school cooperation in helping students achieve comprehensive development and, embrace the world. Meanwhile, the school provided a detailed introduction of the curriculum to the families of new students, allowing the children to have an initial understanding of the upcoming school life.

New families entered the classroom for the first time after the presentation, and the homeroom teacher introduced the curriculum and daily arrangements to parents in detail, answering any questions they might have. The children had the opportunity to meet their teachers and classmates in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
新生家庭在宣讲后初次走进课室，主班老师为家长详细地介绍了课程设置与日常安排，解除了新生家庭的疑问。孩子们在轻松愉悦的氛围中认识了自己的老师和同学。
Counseling Booths

In addition to the speech and meetings, the school also set up several counselling booths to provide new families with comprehensive information services on school life. These booths, covering co-curriculum, school uniform, school bus, school nurse, finance, I.T. system registration, and other aspects, were staffed by professionals who patiently and carefully answered parents’ questions, giving new families a more comprehensive understanding of campus life.

The Orientation Day built a bridge between the families of new students and the school.
