Year 3 students from ISA Tianhe school went on a residential field trip to Dapeng, Shenzhen. This was an exciting adventure for many of the students, as it was the first time they had been away from their families for an extended period.
三年级的学生们迎来了一场难忘的户外探究学习之旅,他们前往深圳大鹏,开展了为期三天两夜的探险活动。对于他们来说,这不仅是一次学习新知识的机会,更是他们人生中第一次离开家人,独立面对生活的挑战。

IB Learner Profile IB培养目标

Outdoor education, as an important part of IB teaching, can well cultivate students’ spirit of Risk Taker, Inquirer, Balanced, Knowledgeable, Communicator and Caring. The IB inquiry-based teaching mode is adopted in our daily teaching. Apart from guiding students to make use of online and offline learning resources, students are also encouraged to integrate into the society and experience different activities.
户外教育作为IB教学重要的一部分,能够很好地培养学生勇于尝试、积极探究、全面发展、知识渊博、善于交流、懂得关爱的精神。在日常教学中采用IB探究式教学模式,除了引导学生利用线上、线下学习资源以外,还鼓励他们融入社会,体验不同的活动。
ISA Tianhe camp emphasises “learning by doing”, allowing students to deepen their understanding of knowledge through practical operation, hands-on participation and direct observation, exceeding through the traditional classroom and connecting theory to the real world. The camp is customized by professionals such as education experts, teachers and mentors after arriving at the local area for practical visits. It is a journey to challenge and improve oneself.
营地教学强调“做中学”让学生在实际操作、亲身参与和直接观察中深化对知识的理解,突破传统课堂的局限,使理论知识与现实世界紧密相连。爱莎天河学校的营地之旅是教育专家、教师和行业导师等专业人士在到达当地实践走访后精心定制的户外活动项目,是结合体力磨练和心灵感知的一次难忘行程。
01 Team-Building 团队游戏,感受凝聚的力量
On the first day, the students started by making traditional Green Bean cakes. They rolled and molded pastry into floral designs before eating their scrumptious snacks, learning about food safety and hygiene in the process.
旅程的第一天活动是制作传统的绿豆糕。学生们将糕点擀成精美的花朵图案,再将图案定型。制作完成后,他们与同学和老师一起品尝了自己制作的美味糕点。通过制作的过程,他们了解到了食品安全和卫生知识。
Students were then divided into teams and assigned roles for a scavenger hunt around the historic Dapeng Fortress. They had to work collaboratively to ask local residents questions about the history and significance of the fortress, and then use the information they gathered to find and interpret clues. This required strong teamwork and communication skills from the students, who impressed teachers with their enthusiastic enquiries.
随后,学生们来到了寻宝游戏的环节。通过小组形式,每个小组都分配了不同的角色和任务,他们在大鹏炮台这一历史悠久的地方展开了一场别开生面的探险。在游戏环节中,考验学生们的团队合作和沟通能力,因为他们要向当地的居民询问与炮台相关的历史和意义。他们利用收集到的信息,寻找和解开线索。学生们的超强团队合作精神和沟通能力,给老师们留下了深刻的印象。

In the evening, the students put on a talent show for their teachers, who acted as encouraging judges. Despite having little time to prepare, all the performances were amazing, showcasing the students’ unique set of talents and skills. This event topped off a successful first day, and students had the chance for some free time, before settling down for the night.
晚上,学生们为老师们表演了才艺节目,老师们担任评委,鼓励学生。尽管准备时间很短,但所有的表演都非常精彩,展示了学生们独特的才艺和技能。第一天的活动取得了圆满成功,学生们有机会自由活动。经过一天充实的活动,他们进入了梦乡。

02 Surfing Activity 冲浪课程,开启冒险之旅
The highlight of the trip was the surfing activity on the second day. Many of the students were apprehensive about trying something new, but they showed great courage and determination as they stood up on the waves for the first time. It was a thrilling experience that demonstrated the students’ support for one another, as friends cheered from the shore.
第二天,本次旅程的最大亮点——冲浪课程。许多学生对于尝试这一全新事物感到忐忑不安,但是当他们站在海浪上时,却展现出了令人钦佩的勇气和决心。这是一次惊心动魄的经历,每一次成功的驾驭海浪都离不开同伴间的相互支持与鼓励。在岸边,同学们的欢呼雀跃声此起彼伏,相互加油打气,也为整个旅程增添了无限活力与欢乐。

Throughout the trip, the ISA Tianhe students were a credit to their school, demonstrating maturity, cooperation, and a sense of adventure. This residential experience allowed them to grow in independence and self-confidence, as they navigated being away from home. It was an enriching and memorable trip for the Year 3 students that they will surely remember for years to come.
在整个旅程中,爱莎天河的学生们展现出了优秀的IB学习者特质:他们不仅成熟稳重,而且善于合作,更敢于冒险尝试。我们由衷地为他们感到骄傲。这次三天两夜的户外营地教学不仅锻炼了他们的独立生活能力,更在无形中增强了他们的自信心。对于三年级的孩子们来说,这是一次充实而难忘的旅行,他们将在未来的日子里,永远记得这段美好的时光,继续勇往直前。
