We were thrilled to have the privilege of hosting Martin Chatterton at our ISA Tianhe school on Friday, 8th March 2024. During the visit, he shared his works with the students and engaged in live interactions and creations. Mr. Martin received a warm welcome from the students and teachers, bringing an unforgettable literary and artistic atmosphere to the entire school.
爱莎天河学校有幸邀请到知名作家Martin Chatterton先生到校演讲。与学生们分享了他的作品并在现场师生现场互动，即兴创作。Martin先生以其丰富的文学经验和幽默风趣的风格，吸引了学校师生的热烈欢迎，为全校带来了一次难忘的文学艺术盛宴。

Mr. Martin was born in Liverpool, England, boasts an impressive career spanning over thirty years as both a writer and illustrator. He has authored numerous children’s books and collaborated with esteemed authors including several British Children’s Laureates. His work has been published in fourteen languages and garnered multiple awards in Australia, the US, and the UK.
Martin先生出生于英国利物浦，他既是作家又是插画家，拥有超过三十年的写作和插画经验。他撰写了多本儿童读物，并与多位英国儿童文学大使等知名作家合作。其作品以十四种语言出版，并在澳大利亚、美国和英国获得了多个奖项。

Our EY3 up to Y5 students had the opportunity to meet Martin where he shared his exceptional illustration skills. With his infectious sense of humor, he captivated their imaginations and encouraged them to explore new ideas through drawing. Mr. Martin’s visit greatly inspired our students in creating and character development. They found his vibrant creations lively and immensely enjoyable.
幼儿园中班至小学五年级的学生与Martin先生面对面交流，聆听他的分享，并见证他卓越的插画技巧。Martin先生超富感染力的幽默感，极大程度激发了孩子们的想象力。在分享中，他鼓励学生通过绘画探索新的想法。他的到访不仅激发了学生们创作的热情，同时也赋予了学生在角色塑造方面的灵感。学生们对Martin先生的创作纷纷表示喜爱和赞赏。
Mr. Martin’s engaging presentation left a lasting impression on all our students who showered him with love and laughter during his ISA Tianhe school visit. We eagerly anticipate Martin’s next visit.
