Admissions Process

Applications can be filled in online or by completing a hard copy application form. If you want to apply online, please download and fill out the application form (electronic version), and email all the materials (as seen here required back to the ISA Tianhe Admissions Office: admissions@isagzth.com)

We will contact you after receiving your online application form to inform you how to pay the application fee and to determine an interview time.

When a year level is full, a waiting list is established. As vacancies occur, students are placed in classes according to the date of their original application to the Admissions Office.

 

To simplify the process, a step-by-step admissions process is detailed below.

 

Step 1
Complete the online application and upload the required documents. The checklist of documents for application has been provided in the page of “Apply”.

Step 2

Pay the registration fee (non-refundable) for the application to be reviewed. We accept payment by the following methods:

  • Cash

  • Debit or credit card

  • Alipay or WeChat Pay in Finance Office

  • Online payment

Step 3

Documentations are reviewed by the admissions team, with final approval by the Head of School.

  • If the provided documentation is satisfactory, a conditional letter of offer will be issued

  • If more information is required, the admissions team will directly follow-up with the applicant, and a conditional letter of offer will be issued once requirements are satisfied

Step 4

Screener Assessment:

  1. Early Years: Observation by Education Leader

  2. Primary: Screener assessments in English, Mathematics, Chinese and General Reasoning (other components may be assessed if required)

 

Family meeting:

All families will be invited for a meeting with a member of the education leadership team. The purpose of the meeting is for us to better understand the family, the unique strengths of each child, educational backgrounds, key interests, areas requiring support, as well as any other information that will ensure our staff are ready to work with the family from day one.

 

Step 5

  1. The Admissions Office will send out an unconditional letter of offer

  2. Return the acceptance of offer, and sign the family contract

  3. Pay the admissions fee to confirm placement at the school
